Are you tired of playing Greensleeves? Or perhaps you love Greensleeves and want to learn a new version. Green Sleeves and Pudding Pies is a piece from John Playford's Dancing Master, published in the 1700s. The first half is very similar to the traditional Greensleeves melody, but the second half has a refreshing and surprising twist.
The lever harp version is intermediate level based on the notes, but it contains 24 lever changes so overall it is more advanced level. I've arranged it in G minor (needing Eb and Bb) and the E and F levers get moved back and forth throughout. Memorization is recommended.
The pedal harp version is less difficult, but still with lots of pedal changes. I've arranged it in F minor (4 flats) so that the pedal changes are slit between the right and left feet.
