Concert Band - Level 3 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.711695

Composed by Keith Mansfield. Arranged by John Ivor Holland. 20th Century,Film/TV,Rock. Score and Parts. 68 pages. John Ivor Holland #320270. Published by John Ivor Holland (A0.711695).

One of the longest running and best known themes for a sports show, 'Grandstand' was composed for the BBC's flagship programme by Keith Mansfield (who also penned 'Light and Tuneful' (used for the Wimbledon broadcasts)) and was first heard at the end of the 11 October 1975 show (the 1000th edition of Grandstand) and remained until the end of the programme's existence in 2007. Now available for the first time for concert band, this fantastic and funky tune will certainly pack a punch in any indoor or outdoor event.
