14th Century German Carol From David R. Kent, here is a festive and energetic setting of this treasured 14th century German carol to the tune, In Dulci Jubilo. The dance-like character of this piece exudes great joy in celebration of the incarnation of our Savior. The performance requires a bright, lilting, up-beat approach. In measures 51-68, where a variation of the tune to "Joy to the World" is placed in juxtaposition to the main theme, it is important to balance both melodies so that they are readily accessible to the listeners' ears.
