GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD is an anthem taken from John Stainer's oratorio, The Crucifixion, composed in 1887. This anthem gained popularity in mid-20th Century US and UK as a choral presentation because of its beautiful and dramatic chord changes and melody. Although composed as a Lenten oratorio, this anthem is appropriate year-round for worship and Holy Communion. This arrangement by McIntire is for Intermediate SAB CHOIR (soprano, alto, baritone) with piano accompaniment. A separate sheet for voices is provided along with the score.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
