A sax quartet version of Sam Smith's classical/gospel mashup, "Gloria" from their 2023 album Gloria. Described by Smith as their "queer love hymn", this song takes listeners on a two minute emotional journey from pensive doubt to realization and exuberant self-acceptance.

This chorale-style arrangement is closely adapted from the original SATB choral parts. The tenor and bari are featured in the opening lyrical section, and every player gets to display their technical skills in the bombastic polyphonic section. Blend, balance and articulation matching are also emphasized, providing an excellent, student-friendly introduction to ensemble playing!
