This is the first of a set of twelve trio sonatas by Domenico Gallo which were mistakenly attributed to Pergolesi. The first movement was made famous by Igor Stravinski in his Pulcinella Suite. The three movements (Moderato, Andantino & Presto), have been edited and arranged for flute, clarinet in A and bassoon or cello. Players of intermediate standard and above will enjoy the three well contrasted movements.
