A mixed acappella quartet arrangement of the most popular Japanese folk song.
The YouTube example is the other arrangement for a quintet. This SATB arrangement is a modification of the quintet arrangement just to be able to sing only with four singers.

The song Furusato (Japanese: 故郷, "old home" or "hometown") is a well-known 1914 Japanese children's song, with music by Teiichi Okano and lyrics by Tatsuyuki Takano. The lyrics describe a person working in a distant land, expressing his nostalgia for the hills and fields of his childhood home.

The Japanese government has designated Furusato as a Japanese children's song to be taught in the Japanese public school system.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
