Published by Dr. LeRoy Henry (A0.1098893).This arrangement of the Pat Martino Trio playing Wes Montgomery's composition "Full House" was recorded in Poland at The Lotos Jazz Festival in 2014 at the height of Martino's virtuosity. He originally released it on the 2006 Blue Note recording Remember: A Tribute to Wes Montgomery. Included here is a transcription of the head at a quick tempo with Pat playing the rhythmic chord punches in between the melody notes (those punches were originally played by the pianist on Wes' original recording). This is a feat that shows the kind of chops this guitarist had. The bridge is extended, and the solo is fantastic. Also included is Pat's unique comping (rhythm guitar accompaniment) that Pat saved for times when an organist was soloing. This is because an organist has his hands full laying down a bass line during solos. Pat rarely comped in piano settings because of the presence of a bassist in those situations.
