Concert Band - Level 4 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.891066

Composed by Herbert L. Clarke. Arranged by Diana L. Appler. 20th Century,Concert,Contemporary. Score and parts. 70 pages. Diana L. Appler #5744941. Published by Diana L. Appler (A0.891066).

Composed (1912) by perhaps one of the world’s finest cornetists, this delightfully playable piece is enjoyable for players and audiences. Clarke officially retired from a solo career in 1917, but was very active as a composer, conductor and bandmaster even being elected President of the American Bandmasters Association in 1934. The rondo format gives both the soloist opportunities for virtuosic cadenzas and the accompanying band moments of melodic presentations.  Solo 4+-5 band 3-3+. Legal size score sold separately.
