Composed by Robert Planquette. Arranged by J. S. Seredy edited by Diana L. Appler. 20th Century,Multicultural,World. 16 pages. Diana L. Appler #3216489. Published by Diana L. Appler (A0.891059).

This military march had its beginning as a poem. Robert Planquette set the poem to music when he was only 19 but sold his rights to a publisher when he was in financial distress.  Because of its popularity several composers have held claim to the composition.  It is a stirring military march that has found favor the world over especially with military units.  This edition closely follows the 1937 arrangement of J. S. Seredy being updated for today’s instrumentation.  Full score is legal size and sold separately.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
