Composed by Kees Schoonenbeek. Contemporary. Score and individual part. 21 pages. Canzona Music #49615. Published by Canzona Music (A0.837155).

Netherlands, Social Media Channel YouTube, Facebook, Linkedin, Duration 7 minutes, year of release 2013, programming notes: With ‘Four Characters’ I’ve tried to compose a playable clarinet-piece which is except playable also interesting. You can play all the four parts, you can also make a choice. I ‘Prelude’, many broken chords and legato-playing. II ‘Marche’, a different approach, non legato, watch out for the dotted notes. III ‘Ballad, the typical slow movement, expressive with tension, legato. IV ‘Scherzo’, the typical finale. Motorial and playful with a contrasting theme from measure 21. Really four different characters.
