Completed My Set
I took the opportunity of the International Music Company sale to buy volume 1 of this set. I already had volume 2, but I had purchased a CD-rom collection of French Songs and thought maybe that was plenty. I was pleased to see that composers were included in the Interenational books that were not on the CD-rom collection. The thing I like best is the translations at the top of the first page of each song. I have had to deal with other music that had no translation or had it printed at the beginning of the book. I think the top of the page is the best solution, since English versions printed as an option for singing frequently do not mean the same thing, or are rearranged to fit the tune.
