I encourage parents and teachers to suggest this piece to your kids and students, I included guitar chord for playing together with a guitarist.
Technical notes for teachers: All chords in the LH are voiced in root position with a waltzing feel, except a cadential second inversion at the end of the B section which you might use to explain inversions AND the function of a cadential 6/4 chord. Fingerings are included. The diatonic nature of the tune, the root position voicings easy to understand, the easy key of C major, and the presence of one chromatic chord and borrowings from the minor / modal interchange gives a chance to introduce pupils to harmonic concept in all these areas.
