Composed by Harvey Grace. Arranged by Rita Arendz. 20th Century,Christmas,Sacred,Standards. 27 pages. Rita Arendz #6635901. Published by Rita Arendz (A0.1001557).A Fantasia on The First Nowell is an abridged working of English organist, composer, editor, and educator Harvey Grace's 1912 A Christmas Postlude.
The work was dedicated to his teaching colleague A.W. Dunstall.
This brass quintet arrangement (for instruments of the brass band family) portrays the rich sounds of the organ and its various use of stops (registration). The Fantasia uses as its primary theme The First Nowell and concludes with O Come All Ye Faithful! Although it is considered an Ephiphany Carol, it is still a wonderful addition to your Christmas season repertoire.
Duration ~ 4:35. An alternate part for Horn in F and bass clef parts for Euphonium (trombone/baritone) and tuba are included. 27 pages.
This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
