The opening is spooky and mysterious, and it winds its way to a jaunty conclusion. The subject matter seemed to lend itself to some spookier harmonies and sound effects, so the piece also makes use of flute effects including key clicks, tongue slaps, and breathing into the instrument to illustrate the dry bones coming back to life and walking around. Flute 1 is somewhat more technically challenging than flutes 2 and 3. Score and individual parts are included. Key: F Major, Duration: about 3'55".
