This is the ORIGINAL COMPOSITION of Etude No. 10 for Native American Flute entitled "Half a Dozen of One ..." from composer Enoch Chapman.
The focus of this etude is to :
* have the performer familiarize themselves with the 6/8 Time Signature
* have the performer get familiar with Sixteenth and Eighth Notes in the 6/8 Time Signature
* have the performer get familiar with Rallentando and Ritardando Tempo markings
* have the performer get familiar with the Dotted Quarter Note pulse instead of a strict 6 Eighth Note pulse
This piece uses Sixteenth Notes, Eighth Notes, Dotted Quarter Rests, and brings back the "Tie" to help the performer build their breathing and intonation skills.
This piece introduces a the 6/8 Time Signature and the Rallantando to increase their musical toolkit.
