Published by Simpatico Music (A0.1324184).This work was originally written for my student Andre at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music as a personal technical etude that also suited his developing musical personality. It explores hand independence, legato phrasing and quintuplet rhythm groupings. It is included in the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) Syllabus from the Certificate of Performance level. It also makes an ideal short solo work to feature the vibraphone at recitals.
