"Scenes from Tiquicia" collects ten images that represent memories I have of the country where I grew up. They are dedicated to beginner-level apprentice pianists, in order to introduce them not only to the elements of the Costa Rican musical tradition but also to other aspects of the national culture.
The collection gathers ten short pieces, featuring several traditional rythms such as tambito, calipso, bolero, jota and pasillo, among others.
