Enjoy the Future was composed for the Politie Orkest Noord-Nederland (Police Band of the Northern Netherlands) to mark its 75th anniversary. This composition, dedicated to manager and assistant conductor Reinder C. Klei, is a dazzling musical number suitable for performance at any festive occasion.

Johan Nijs componeerde Enjoy the Future ter gelegenheid van het vijfenzeventigjarige jubileum van het Politie Orkest Noord-Nederland. Met dit sprankelende openingswerk doet de componist een poging een blik te werpen in de toekomstvan het blaasorkest. Enjoy the Future is geschikt voor alle orkesten die een jubileum te vieren hebben. En ook voor al die orkesten die gáán voor een langdurig voortbestaan van hun orkest!

Diese Komposition ist ein funkelndes Eröffnungswerk, das einen optimistischen Ausblick in die Zukunft der Blasorchesterwelt wagt. Geschrieben wurde es für ein 75-jähriges Jubiläum eines aufstrebenden Blasorchesters und bietet sich damit auch ideal für Feierlichkeiten aller Art an.

Johan Nijs a composé cette brillante pièce d’ouverture, l’occasion du 75e anniversaire de la Musique de la Police des Pays-Bas du Nord (Politie Orkest Noord-Nederland). Elle est dédiée au manager et chef assistant de l’orchestre, Reinder C. Klei. Enjoy the Future est un excellent présage pour l’avenir !
