By Creedence Clearwater Revival. By John Fogerty. Arranged by T. Douglas Bush. Rock. Individual part. 7 pages. T. Douglas Bush #6134743. Published by T. Douglas Bush (A0.927617).

In 1969 Creedence Clearwater Revival released the album Willy and the Poor Boys, which included this hit single, among others. "Down on the Corner" was written, produced, and performed by the legendary John Fogerty, who composed a string of classic rock songs in the late sixties.

This arrangement captures the melody and guitar riffs of the song and uses standard C, F, and G chord positions, for the most part. The verse is more challenging, as it combines the melody and bass parts. Practice them separately before attempting to play them together. Once you've mastered it, this is a fun piece to play.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
