However, the group performed "Don't Let Me Down" (with Billy Preston on an electric piano) twice during their famous rooftop concert in January 1969, which was their final public performance. Written by John Lennon as a love song for Yoko Ono, "Don't Let Me Down" became one of the Beatles' most popular songs, and makes for a fantastic piano cover!
