It was composed by the artist together with Martin McKinney, Prince 85, Dylan Wiggins, Magnus August Høiberg and William Thomas Walsh, being produced by the artist together with Doc McKinney and Cirkut and co-produced by Prince 85 and Høiberg under the professional name of Cashmere Cat. Its recording took place in 2016 at Conway Recording Studios and Westlake Beverly Studios, both located in Los Angeles, California, Matza Ball Studio in New York and The Treehouse X in Suffolk. The track was sent to rhythmic radio on September 19, 2017, through the labels XO and Republic, serving as the sixth single from the disc.
