Composed by traditional Welsh Carol for the New Year. Arranged by Marilyn Rummel. Celtic,Christmas,Classical,Holiday. Score. 12 pages. Demand Music #4624607. Published by Demand Music (A0.849958).

This tune dates back to the 16th century and is part of that ancient Welsh harp tradition.  It was published in Wales in the 1700 with words for the New Year celebration. This arrangement is for 3 harps, with harp 2 carrying the melody throughout (upper intermediate level). Harps 1 and 3 are easy parts that accompany with all sorts of bells effects to ring in the New year. Harp 3 uses an ancient harp technique of dividing the melody between 2 hands, and playing octaves in the left. Much fun for your ensemble - and lovely and lively effects for the audience.
