Published by Baton Music (BF.BM854-SET).Pablo Luna Carné (1879-1942) was a Spanish composer mainly known for his zarzuela's. In 1918, he released one of his greatest works, 'El niño judío' ('The Jewish Boy'). 'De España vengo' is the best-known composition from this zarzuela. It's a true 'Canción Española' in which Concha, one of the main characters sings how proud she is to be from Spain. With an orchestral accompaniment mimicking guitar playing it can't be more Spanish at all. 'De España vengo' became very popular on it's own and is recorded by many great sopranos around the world.
