Edited by Dr. Mary Berry. Choral, Chant. Octavo. Paraclete Press #8308. Published by Paraclete Press (PL.8308).The setting of the "Credo Cardinale" transcribed here comes from a fifteenth to sixteenth century illuminated choir-book in Edinburgh University Library where it appears in a late medieval rhythmic notation. The melody itself is known as Credo IV in modern service-music books. Nick-named the "Jazz Credo" by Dr. Berry's students, this is an unusual chant work that is a joy to sing.
