Countdown Suite for Piano, Late Intermediate level by Joe Gargiulo, is a collection of short jazz pieces in various meters "counting down" from 7/4 to 1/4. The 7/4 section was taken from "Popsicle", one of my favorites. The performer has much freedom of expression as there are few notations. Take metronome marks loosely and have a good time playing. Great for recitals/programs/gigs.
