Commodores Challenge was written for Commodore D. J. Martin, Royal Australian Navy Commanding Officer and HMAS Melbourne (Aircraft Carrier), flagship of the Royal Australian Navy. It was written in 1981 by Lieutenant Vic Knowles, Band Officer RAN. It is a march that was used by the RAN Band (Military Band) for Ceremonials and public performance. The Audio example is for Concert Band but will give the listener an idea of the title for Brass Band. Enjoy!
