It was written for the Broadway musical St. Louis Woman, which opened on March 30, 1946, and closed after 113 performances. This contemporary version features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in a number of our arrangements. It sounds great "as-written" be we've included everything you need to "make it your own". Have fun with it - we sure did!
