Great Arrangements
These are really cool arrangements! However, my flautist friend and I are wondering if the composer actually plays the flute or the piano... The keys are not the easiest for the flute, and the piano parts have some extremely awkward passages, in terms of fingering. This isn't 'whip it up two rehearsals; music for most players. The piece we are doing, Oh, Joy! has almost no melody in the piano, which is interesting for practicing by oneself. Flautists and pianists looking for a challenge and an impressive sound should definitely consider putting forth the effort to learn these pieces!Five stars for the sound; four stars for some of the awkward piano arranging.

What fun!
Listened to the sample track of Cool Silent Night and really enjoyed it enough to buy the book. All the other tracks are available to hear on a different site. There are some really fun pieces. Quality of the music is 5 stars, but definitely not for beginners as there a lot of fast 16th & 32nd notes. The skill level is the only thing that brought it down to the 4 star. If you want a challenge, this is a really fun book, and well done arrangements.
