Brass Ensemble - Level 3 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.905049

Composed by Giuseppe Ottavio Pitoni. Arranged by Mark Arnold. Baroque,Sacred. Score and parts. 9 pages. Brass & Bronze Music #3506297. Published by Brass & Bronze Music (A0.905049).

From the mid-to-late baroque, this setting of the opening verses of Psalm 149 was originally a choral motet for mixed voices.  In this arrangement for brass quintet, the original part writing has been preserved, with some added doubling, while the key has been changed to better suit the range of the brasses. The judicious editing will ease rehearsal without inhibiting the style of the piece.

Well within the abilities of school groups, it will be a useful and enjoyable addition to the repertoire of advanced amateur and professional quintets as well.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
