Published by Edition Schwalbe (A0.1021841).Josef Strauss, second born od the three Strauss brothers wrote this polka mazur in 1862 in Pavlovsk, Russia, located 30 kilometers south from St. Petersburg, the capital of the Russian Empire. It was first performed there in September 1862, followed by the first performance in Vienna in November of the same year. This transcription was commissioned by Wind Philharmonic Mozarteum Salzburg.
