Published by Nathan Miranda (A0.1120207).Most modern performances of Duble’s most famous march might point out a stark juxtaposition between Duble’s career as a circus musician and the serious, martial strains of “Bravura.” While performed primarily as a true military marching march, “Bravura” was in fact composed as a circus march. Over the years, this march in unique form found a home in the repertoires of circus bands, parade bands, school bands, and military bands solidifying its place as a textbook work of the American march.
