Bounteous river, river of mercy,
Flowed from your life’s blood, flowed fast away.
Streams never ceasing since in the Garden,
Streams of the Lamb’s blood, unto this day.
Rivers of crimson, washing as pure snow,
Ribbons of crimson, spilled by God’s Lamb.
Abraham offered up the chosen son,
But as a ransom, God sent a ram.
I offered my sin, You sent a Savior;
I offered my pain, You sent your Son.
I offered my guilt, You spilled your life’s blood;
You gave me hope when I deserved none.
First Fruit of Heaven, returned to the Father;
First Fruit of Heaven, rending the veil.
Life lies before me, death is behind me;
Living in your Light, death can’t assail.
Darkness is gone now, You are my sunshine;
Raised in your likeness, I walk in Light.
You are my High Priest, e’er pleading for me;
You are my Counsel, setting things right.

In life’s death shadow, there is no fear.
