This is a clever jazz piece basically scored in quarter and even eighth notes with the occasional dotted patterns to be played as "swing" style triplets. The tempo is moderate, so the entire work has a lazy, laid-back feel. Repetitive patterns make learning easy and fun. The piece begins and ends with a single-line theme accompanied by finger snaps or mallet handle clicks. Chordal sections move from G to C and back with moderate accidental changes. Rhythms are varied and somewhat challenging, but that's where the appeal begins. This work is 72 measures in length.
