Classic hymn by Bob Gillman Arnold Sherman has adapted another Joel Raney piano arrangement, from his Overtures of Praise collection, one of the praise and worship chestnuts, Bind Us Together. It is combined withe the traditional hymn Blest Be the Tie That Binds, in a flowing arrangement that is useful for themes about unity and the church community. Keeping an even, flowing, eighth-note pulse is the key to musically performing this blending of the old hymn and the new praise chorus. Dynamic contrasts also play an important interpretive part. Few bell changes or difficult rhythms should allow ringers to focus on musicality. Measures total 138.
