This song is based on the 12 bar Blues progression in the key of C. Of interest is the right hand playing the flat 3rd. to the major 3rd. for each chord. Eb to E on the C chord, Ab to A on the F chord and Bb to B on the G chord, typical of the Blues sound. The left hand is playing a Blues bass pattern alternating the notes of the 1 and 5 and 1 and 6 of each chord. A swing rhythm is used for the song. The fingering used in the first measure is to be used throughout the piece.
