Composed by Various. Arranged by Deborah Greenblatt. Tunes for Two; Music Period Collections. Baroque, Early Music, World. Collection, Songbook. Greenblatt & Seay #BVN2BQTFTV. Published by Greenblatt & Seay (GS.BVN2BQTFTV).

8.5 x 11 inches.

A collection of 27 lively pieces arranged for two players (melody and harmony). These curated gems include dance tunes from Belgium, England, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Prussia, and Sweden. Well known composers are included (Bach, Handel, Telemann), as well as some surprises (Fasch, Gambarini, Roman). Program notes are also included.

Each "Tunes for Two" collection consists of individual spiral bound duet books presented in score form with melody on top and harmony beneath so you can play the tunes without another player. The tunes in each book of each series are in the same keys so you can play in harmony with other musicians. Books are available for violins, violas, cellos, upright basses, mandolins, soprano recorders, and alto recorders. 54 pages. Standard Notation.

Composers include Arne, J.S. Bach, Couperin, Fasch, Fiocco, Frederick II, Gambarini, Handel, Kindermann, Lalande, Lully, Marais, Martini, Pachelbel, Pepusch, Pergolesi, Phillidor, Purcell, Quantz, Roman, Sweelinck, Telemann, Van Eyck, Vitali.
