This is an easy arrangement of the classic Cradle Song, updated in the style of a jazz waltz. It is a great opportunity to  introduce a swing feel to the pupil’s playing and practise simple syncopated rhythms. This arrangement is in the key of G major, features single notes per hand across the treble and bass clefs with some hand position changes, dynamics and fingering suggestions.
It would be a great addition to a Christmas concert, recital, or for the pupil to play at a family Christmas party.
