This is a simplified arrangement of Franz Shubert's Ave Maria. I have transposed it to an easier key and simplified the time signature and rhythms.

Eddie Lewis has not written an accompinament for this, so the solo is unaccompanied.

The highest note is written D in the staff. there are two of these. Most of the notes are between bottom space E and C in the staff.

To give you an idea of the skill level, Mr. Lewis arranged this for one of his students. She is a fifth grader who has only been playing the trumpet for a few months. This arrangement of Ave Maria is not easy for her, but she is learning it over a period of several weeks.
