This Easter version of Ave Maria tells how Mary Magdeline went to the tomb the third day after Jesus was crucified. When she arrives, she sees that the stone has been rolled away. She runs to find help and gets Simon Peter to go with her. They find Jesus was no longer there. He had risen from the dead on the third day as he had told them. He went to Heaven to be with his father. She is telling Mary about their discovery. This version is for a soloist and SA harmony and choice of flute, violin or cello with parts included and piano.
