This transcription includes not only Parker's solo but also the solos from the trumpet player, Miles Davis, and the pianinst, Walter Bishop Jr. These solos are excellent demonstrations of jazz/bebop language. One thing worth noting in particular, is how each musician emphasizes the "hit", or the beat from the drummer that leads into beat 1 of the following measure. This is one aspect of their playing that gives a clear direction and a predictable rhythm to each of their unique solos. The head and solos are included along the corresponding chords in the chart for easy analysis. There are a lot of excellent phrases in here and I hope you learn as much or more than I have from transcribing them.
