Some of the most wonderful melodies ever written come from the Welsh people, and this is one of them. You will enjoy the fluid, imaginative playing of this old favorite tune. The first published version of the tune was in 1802 in "The Bardic Museum". No one seems to know who actually wrote it in the first place. There have been Christian words set to this melody in the 20th century, so it appears in some hymnals.
