A number of solo singing parts are possible, though not essential. The musical takes approximately 45 minutes to perform.
This new edition of Apostle includes a hymn with words by Timothy Dudley-Smith to be used as a response at the end of the musical. The links between the songs, written by Alison Fuggle, feature Barnabas, who introduces the former persecutor Saul to the church in Jerusalem.
