Brass Ensemble - Level 4 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.957888

Composed by John Beeman. Concert,Contemporary. Score and parts. 23 pages. John Beeman #2807629. Published by John Beeman (A0.957888).

"Anthem for Brass" has the feeling of a choral anthem, a short composition traditionally sung in church, but instead is written for brass quintet. The subtitle "Five for Five" refers to this composition being written in 5/4 meter for five players. Various groupings of quintuple meter are used playfully. Sometimes, the emphasis falls as 3 +2, sometimes 2+ 3, and other times, a combination of the two. This is a great brass piece that can fit the bill for concert or festival.
