Composed by Hieronymus Praetorius. Arranged by Lisa Ochoco. Christmas,Renaissance,Sacred. 29 pages. Lisa L Ochoco #5710187. Published by Lisa L Ochoco (A0.559909).

Not to be mixed up with Michael Praetorius or a type of ancient writing system, Hieronymus Praetorius was a German composer and organist who lived in the Renaissance / Baroque periods. He wrote mainly for the voice, and his music is not widely known outside of the church.

This piece was originally for double choir, but I arranged it just as an 8 part piece. If you desire, you could still treat it as a double choir by separating the parts with odd numbers from the even numbers.

This is a great piece to add to your Christmas recital program.

Scored for 2 sopranos, 2 altos, 2 tenors, and 2 baritone saxophones.

Duration: 6.25 minutes
