Piano Trio No. 2 in g minor  (II. Andante)

Elfrida Andrée (1841-1929) was a Swedish composer and an activist in the Swedish women's movement. She composed a number of chamber pieces which included string quartets, piano trios, violin and piano sonatas and was one of the first female organists officially appointed in Scandanavia. This particular piano trio from 1894 lends itself beautifully to the tambres found in a saxophone quartet and is sure to delight your audience.
