Cesar Franck was a composer who wrote mostly for the organ. His compositions are absolutely beautiful. This piece is from a collection of 44 pieces that he wrote for the harmonium between 1858 and 1863. It's very lullabyish and has wonderful unique chord progressions.
This arrangement is scored for 4 Bb clarinets, optional Eb for the 1st part, optional alto for the 4th part, and bass.
