Composed by Traditional. Arranged by L.C. Harnsberger. 19th Century,Christian,Religious,Sacred,Spiritual. 8 pages. LCH Music #812812. Published by LCH Music (A0.1216200).

Few hymn tunes are as popular and moving as “Amazing Grace.” This timeless melody known as “New Britain” was adapted in 1835 to include the inspiring words written by John Newton in 1772. This well-crafted arrangement for horn quartet starts quietly with bagpipe-style sustained notes and the melody in canon that transitions to ethereal cluster harmonies. After a flowing chromatic section is a moving coda that resolves to a quiet final resolution. This arrangement is perfect to use at weddings, funerals, concerts, and recitals.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
