Composed by Carrie Jacobs-Bond. Arranged by Phil Beaman. Romantic Period. Score and parts. 6 pages. Phil Beaman #5196031. Published by Phil Beaman (A0.844688).

Aire du Frolick will put a smile on your face! This playful tune is arranged from a 1905 pop ballad by Carrie Jacobs-Bond. I converted it to an Instrumental Quartet with the melody in the Tuba part with three upper Trombone parts accompanying on grazioso pulsing chords. I added new life to the piece by adjusting phrasing, articulation, dynamics, etc. (A reviewer said this arrangement conjures images of a Viennese Carousel.)
Great for a short interlude of fresh Aire in any recital or concert.
An easy to play crowd pleaser, but marked Early Intermediate due to a range of an octave and a half.
2 page score, 1 page parts
1 1/2 minutes
temporary recording of piano reduction of score
