Kurt Brüggemann (1908-2002) komponierte in den 1950er Jahren die vorweihnachtlichen Lieder für Sendungen des Bayerischen Rundfunks nach Texten von Gustl Laxganger (1902-1987). Für jede Adventswoche sind zwei Lieder in bayerischer Mundart enthalten. Die „Advent-Liadln können mit oder ohne Begleitung, ein- oder zweistimmig, von Einzelstimmen oder im Chor gesungen werden. Die Begleitung kann mit verschiedenen Instrumenten aufgeführt werden.
